InfusionSoft WordPress Plugin Boilerplate

So, this week I thought I’d share this handy little helper… while more of a boilerplate for a “real” WordPress plugin, serves as the base for all of my WP Plugin projects that involve pulling/sharing data with Infusionsoft API.

I just updated it last night to be more modular, so that it can serve as the base or a drop-in for almost any WordPress plugin where you want to interact with Infusionsoft.

Dear WP_Dependencies, How Can We Make You Better?

I’ve been working on a plugin for a good friend and client of mine which makes use of the Facebook Javascript SDK. Perhaps I’m just paranoid, but when it came time to call wp_register_script(), and register the SDK for loading, I was overcome with a sense of foreboding…

It’s a common library… Used by probably 100’s of Plugins. What do I do if it’s already being loaded? How will I know? Will Javascript just implode on itself like jQuery does when a plugin loads a version on top of the one already loaded by WordPress core?Continue »
